The Yamaha DXS18XLF / DXS18XLF-D Powered Subwoofer is designed to provide exceptional low-frequency performance for professional touring, installed sound, and live production environments. Perfectly matched with Yamaha's DZR Series loudspeakers, this powered subwoofer produces tight, impactful bass with excellent clarity and headroom.

Equipped with a custom 18-inch ferrite woofer featuring a 4-inch voice coil, the DXS18XLF delivers a class-leading 136 dB maximum SPL while extending low-frequency response down to 30 Hz. Its powerful 1600W Class-D amplifier ensures clean, efficient performance even at high output levels.

The integrated 96 kHz DSP provides precise crossover management, FIR filtering, delay, EQ, and protection processing with ultra-low latency. Yamaha's D-XSUB processing offers selectable NORMAL, BOOST, and XTEND LF modes, allowing users to optimise bass performance for different applications. Cardioid mode helps reduce unwanted low-frequency energy behind the subwoofer for improved stage monitoring.

The DXS18XLF-D variant includes Dante 2-in/2-out networking, sample-rate conversion (SRC), and remote control capabilities, making it ideal for advanced digital audio systems and networked live sound applications. Built with a durable plywood enclosure and premium Polyurea coating, the DXS18XLF is designed to withstand the demands of professional touring and installation.
