The Roksan Caspian CD is a high-performance CD player designed for serious two-channel Hi-Fi systems. It combines precision disc transport technology with carefully engineered digital and analogue circuitry to provide clean, detailed and natural music reproduction.

The player is compatible with standard CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs and uses a high-quality digital-to-analogue conversion stage. The Caspian CD M2 specification incorporates a PCM1798 24-bit/192kHz DAC, providing high-resolution digital conversion for accurate reproduction of the CD signal.

A substantial power-supply design helps isolate sensitive digital and analogue circuitry. The Caspian CD architecture uses low-noise toroidal transformers and regulated power rails to provide a stable supply for the DAC and digital sections.

The player provides a 1.95V analogue line output along with coaxial and optical digital outputs, allowing it to be connected directly to an integrated amplifier, preamplifier or external DAC. Its 105dB signal-to-noise ratio and 100dB channel separation contribute to a clean stereo presentation.

The Caspian CD's solid aluminium chassis is designed to reduce unwanted vibration and provide a stable platform for the transport mechanism. Its 432 × 70 × 330mm dimensions make it a natural match for other Roksan Caspian components.
