The TP-Link TL-SF1008P V4 8-Port 10/100Mbps Desktop Switch is an unmanaged PoE switch designed for simple, cost-effective network expansion in small offices, homes, and surveillance systems.

It comes with 8× Fast Ethernet RJ45 ports (10/100 Mbps), including 4 PoE ports (IEEE 802.3af compliant) that can transmit both data and power over a single Ethernet cable. Each PoE port supports up to 15.4W output, with a total PoE power budget of 57W, allowing multiple low-power devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones to operate efficiently.

The switch features intelligent power management, which automatically prioritizes PoE ports and prevents overload by shutting down lower-priority ports when total power demand exceeds the budget. This ensures stable operation and protects connected devices.

It also supports Extend Mode, allowing PoE transmission up to 250 meters for long-distance CCTV deployments (at reduced 10 Mbps speed), and Priority Mode, which gives higher priority to ports 1–2 for critical video traffic. Additionally, PoE Auto Recovery automatically reboots unresponsive devices like IP cameras to reduce downtime.
