TP-Link Network Switch, SL2428

The TP-Link TL-SL2428 is a smart managed Layer 2+ switch designed for small and medium business networks that require basic management features along with a mix of Fast Ethernet and Gigabit connectivity. It provides 24 × 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports for standard end devices and 4 × Gigabit RJ45 ports for higher-speed uplinks or critical devices such as servers, NVRs, or core network links.

In addition, it includes 2 × Gigabit SFP combo slots for fiber uplink connectivity, enabling long-distance networking or backbone integration. This makes it suitable for office access layers, surveillance networks, and departmental network segmentation.

The switch supports a wide range of Layer 2 and Layer 2+ features including VLAN segmentation (802.1Q), port isolation, port mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP link aggregation, and IGMP Snooping for multicast optimization. It also provides static routing capabilities for basic inter-VLAN routing without requiring a dedicated router.
