The TP-Link TL-SL1226P is a high-power unmanaged PoE+ switch built primarily for surveillance and small-to-medium business networks requiring large-scale camera or access point deployment. It provides 24 Fast Ethernet PoE+ ports, allowing both power and data to be delivered over a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation and reducing cabling costs.

It includes 2 Gigabit RJ45 uplink ports and 2 Gigabit combo SFP slots for high-speed backbone connectivity, ensuring smooth data transfer to NVRs, routers, or core switches even when all PoE ports are active. The switch supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards with up to 30W per port and a total PoE budget of 250W, making it capable of powering multiple IP cameras, wireless APs, and VoIP devices simultaneously.

For surveillance-focused deployments, it includes specialized operational modes. Extend Mode enables PoE transmission distances of up to 250 meters (at reduced 10 Mbps speed), making it suitable for long-distance camera installations. Priority Mode ensures ports 1–8 receive higher priority for stable video transmission, while Isolation Mode allows one-click segmentation of client traffic for improved security and reduced broadcast interference.
