The TP-Link EAP230-Wall AC1200 Wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Wall Plate Access Point is engineered to provide dedicated high-speed wireless connectivity in environments with multiple individual rooms. Designed to fit standard wall junction boxes, it blends seamlessly into hotels, student housing, hospitals, offices, and residential buildings while delivering enterprise-class wireless performance.

Powered by 802.11ac Wave 2 technology, the EAP230-Wall offers combined wireless speeds of up to 1167 Mbps, including 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. MU-MIMO technology enables simultaneous communication with multiple devices, improving efficiency and reducing network congestion.

The access point features two Gigabit Ethernet ports—one uplink PoE port and one downlink Gigabit port—providing both wired and wireless connectivity for devices such as IP phones, smart TVs, PCs, and printers. Support for 802.3af/at PoE allows power and data to be delivered through a single Ethernet cable, simplifying installation and reducing wiring requirements.

As part of the Omada SDN ecosystem, the EAP230-Wall supports centralized cloud management, remote monitoring, captive portal authentication, VLAN configuration, guest networking, and seamless integration with Omada controllers. Its ultra-slim profile of just 11 mm visible thickness ensures a clean and professional appearance in any room.
