The Parasound NewClassic 2125 v.2 is a versatile 2-channel Class AB power amplifier engineered for powerful, clean and controlled audio reproduction. It delivers 150W per channel into 8Ω and 225W per channel into 4Ω with all channels driven, making it suitable for both high-fidelity stereo and home-theatre applications.

The amplifier can handle demanding speaker loads, delivering 225W per channel into 2Ω when the rear load selector is set to the 2–3Ω position. It can also be configured for bridged mono operation, producing up to 400W into an 8Ω or 4Ω load.

A high-current toroidal transformer and fully discrete circuitry provide substantial power reserves, while the 35A peak current capability per channel helps the amplifier maintain control during demanding musical passages. The 2125 v.2 is THX Ultra2 certified and features a frequency response extending from 20Hz to 50kHz.

Two pairs of heavy-duty speaker outputs provide A/B speaker selection, with a rear-panel lockout switch available for custom installations. A switchable 20Hz/40Hz high-pass filter can help protect smaller speakers or provide additional system flexibility.

The amplifier supports both 12V trigger and audio-sensing automatic turn-on. Gold-plated RCA inputs, rear-panel left and right gain controls, DC servo and relay protection circuits, and high-temperature indicators further enhance its usability.

With its powerful Class AB architecture, 2Ω capability, bridged operation, THX Ultra2 certification and compact 2U chassis, the Parasound NewClassic 2125 v.2 is an excellent choice for demanding stereo, home-theatre and custom-installation systems.
