The switch also provides SFP connectivity for fiber-based network expansion.

The GS724T combines the simplicity of an unmanaged switch with Smart Switch management capabilities, allowing administrators to configure VLANs, port trunking, QoS, traffic prioritization, port monitoring, and other network functions. The current GS724T platform also includes 2 dedicated SFP ports, fanless operation, and rack-mount installation for professional network deployments.
