The Merason Frerot is a high-end Swiss Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) crafted for audiophiles seeking a natural, musical, and highly transparent listening experience. Hand-assembled in Switzerland, the Frerot is built around dual Burr-Brown PCM1794A DAC chips in a fully balanced differential architecture with a discrete Class A I/V output stage. Rather than focusing on unnecessary features, Merason has engineered the Frerot to provide pure, uncompromised PCM playback with meticulous attention to power supply isolation and analog circuit design.

The DAC supports PCM audio up to 24-bit/192kHz and features USB-B, Optical (TOSLINK), and dual Coaxial RCA digital inputs, along with balanced XLR and RCA analog outputs. Ten independent power supplies, galvanically isolated inputs, and Amanero USB technology contribute to exceptionally low noise and jitter. Designed for reference Hi-Fi systems, stereo amplifiers, active speakers, and premium digital audio playback, the Frerot delivers the signature smooth and organic sound for which Merason is renowned.
