The Emotiva XPA-9 Gen3 is a flagship 9-channel audiophile power amplifier engineered to deliver reference-grade performance for premium home theater and multi-channel music systems. Built on Emotiva's renowned Gen3 modular platform, it combines high-current Class A/B amplifier modules, a high-efficiency audiophile-grade Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS), and Optimized Class H™ power supply technology to provide exceptional dynamics, low distortion, and outstanding speaker control.

The XPA-9 Gen3 is uniquely configured with five high-powered mono amplifier modules and two stereo amplifier modules, making it an ideal solution for 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos, 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, or multi-zone home theater systems. The high-power channels drive the front and surround speakers with exceptional authority, while the stereo modules efficiently power height or rear surround channels, ensuring balanced performance throughout the entire soundstage.

Each high-powered channel delivers 300 Watts RMS into 8 ohms and 490 Watts RMS into 4 ohms (two channels driven), while each stereo module provides 65 Watts RMS into 8 ohms and 100 Watts RMS into 4 ohms. The amplifier features fully discrete dual-differential Class A/B circuitry, balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, premium gold-plated 5-way speaker binding posts, and intelligent microprocessor-controlled protection circuitry for reliable long-term operation.
