The D-Link DES-F1016P-HE is a high-performance unmanaged PoE switch designed specifically for large-scale surveillance and extended network deployments. It includes 16 × 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet PoE ports for powering IP cameras, wireless access points, and other PoE-enabled devices, along with 1 Gigabit RJ45 uplink port and 1 Gigabit RJ45/SFP combo uplink port for high-speed backbone connectivity.

Supporting IEEE 802.3af/802.3at PoE standards, the switch provides up to 30W per port with a total PoE power budget of up to 150W, enabling multiple devices to be powered directly through Ethernet cables. This reduces installation cost, eliminates the need for separate power supplies, and simplifies large surveillance deployments.

A key feature of the DES-F1016P-HE is its long-range PoE capability of up to 500 meters (on selected ports in extend mode), making it ideal for CCTV installations in large areas such as campuses, warehouses, parking lots, and industrial facilities where standard Ethernet distance limitations are insufficient.

The switch operates in a plug-and-play mode, requiring no configuration. It supports Auto MDI/MDIX, IEEE 802.3x flow control, and store-and-forward switching for stable and reliable data transmission. It also includes intelligent DIP-switch control for features such as long-distance mode, VLAN isolation, QoS prioritization, and PoE auto recovery.
