The speaker incorporates Bowers & Wilkins' Decoupled Carbon Dome tweeter, which minimizes unwanted resonance and delivers highly detailed, natural high frequencies. Dual 130 mm Continuum™ cone bass/midrange drivers ensure transparent dialogue reproduction and controlled bass performance.

The HTM72 S2 features a 2-way vented-box enclosure with Bowers & Wilkins' proprietary Flowport™ technology, reducing air turbulence and enhancing low-frequency response. Designed to complement the compact speakers in the 700 Series range, such as the 704 S2 and 706 S2, it creates a seamless and immersive front soundstage for movies, music, and gaming.
