The Arcam PA720 is a high-performance seven-channel Class G power amplifier designed to provide powerful, controlled and detailed amplification for premium home theatre and multi-channel audio systems. Its Class G architecture incorporates 20W of Class A operation, combining refined low-level performance with efficient high-power output when demanding movie soundtracks or music passages require additional headroom.

With all seven channels driven, the PA720 delivers 100W per channel into 8Ω and 140W per channel into 4Ω across the full 20Hz–20kHz bandwidth. With fewer channels operating, it can provide even greater output, reaching 225W per channel into 4Ω with two channels driven.

The amplifier uses a toroidal-based power supply, acoustically damped chassis and paralleled transistor output stages to support excellent control and low distortion. Harmonic distortion is rated at just 0.002% at 80% power into 8Ω at 1kHz, helping preserve detail and clarity across demanding audio material.

For flexible system integration, the PA720 features switchable RCA and balanced XLR inputs, along with Ethernet and RS232 control. Its seven channels make it particularly suitable for powering multiple speakers in a dedicated home cinema system, including front, centre, surround or other channels from a compatible AV processor.
